Salam to our old friend Tuan Zahid (left). He was one of the few pioneers that migrated to Port Sudan in 2005. Being "Civil"ize man, he had to be at site to monitor the site preparation work and accommodations. He had very tough time supervising the local CON.. and he lost most of his hair in this job. Pitty him maa... I could remember during the old days, whenever I met him, his lips never stopped talking about his grievances no matter day or night. It showed how difficult to transfer technology and knowledge to the local and to accept cultural differences. The old says "Masuk kandang kambing mengembik, masuk kandang lembu menguak" can't be applied to oil & gas project maaa... He should be able to write a thick book about his grievances. He left after the first oil to run away from the problems.
He is currently in Turkmenistan on other Malaysian project. He thinks he run away from "mulut harimau" but he get into another "mulut harimau". Ohhhh not again my friend!!!! You have to bare with new learners. It is like teaching a toddlers or young children, you need a lot of patient loohhh. At least your eyes are better now, not "rabun" anymore!!!!! The environment is greener not light brown like Kg Pasir Berdengung. Keep in touch. Masalama.
