This is a large fish from Red Sea but tasteless. Anyhow, these guys on the barge made "ikan masin". Some bring back to Malaysia as present to relatives and friends. Anybody knows the scientific name of this fish?

I,once joint them for the trip..It was that possibility which makes fishing for these trophies addictive, even the softest most gentle tug can turn into a battle of wills between the rod handler and a mammoth brute that will challenge any fisherman...But my the-one-and-only trip was empty handed...maybe sifu srun can assist...
