This picture was recorded after attending the Eid Fitri prayer at the airport mosque in November, 2005. From the left are the writer, Alongan the Prince of Sulu, from Philippine and Mail Gunung. We prayed at the open space next to the mosque, breathing the cool and breezy winter air, what a wonderful day!!!.Alongan was our Project Control Engineer and he left the project sometime in year 2006. Very nice and gentle person to be with and never hurt anybody feeling. Mail Gunung was our only coating inspector and we were together in Abu Dhabi and Dubai during fabrication of the SPM buoy. He loves shopping for the family and he almost "borong" the Dubai shops. Live simple life and always think of better future for the family. I hope he gets what he plans for, Amin ya Allah.
I drove from Abu Dhabi to Ras Al Khaimah in UAE with Mail Gunung up to the border of Oman. We were thinking of going for "Jejak Rasul" into Oman. When I phone my wife to inform her my intention, my wife said "jangan ngada-ngada, nanti kena kidnap baru tahu". We turned back and the dream never realize.....
