Normally, the Malaysian preferred a separate "solah" from the local because they were very delighted to here the usual Malaysian "takbir" rhythm that made them felt like being at home. Consequently, the rhythm created an atmosphere of sadness deep in their heart and automatically caused tears to drop (Ramai yang basah baju lah brother!!!!, cuma tak meraung aje). I wasn't sure the sadness was deliberately exalted because of the "Ramadhan" left them (missing Ramadhan greatly) or home sick..... Which category did you in???? Don't be shy lahh!!!!

2006 EID FITRI - SHAHADAH
After Eid Fitri 2006 "solah and khutbah", one Sarawakian pronounced "shahadah" witnessed by many Malaysians. The "Eid Solah" and "Shahadah" declaration were conducted at CON.... galley. "Takbir Hari Raya" was held on the night before the ceremony. I was told that he married a Malaysian lady that worked at site near the beach. May Allah bless both of them. Amin.

Yes, it was an overwhelming experience to spend my first Raya away from my very own family. I never thought i could be so emotional when alone in my cabin before the Solat Aidil Fitri.
Nevertheless, I also felt honored to witness the special occasion of pronouncing the Shahadah by "saudara baru" which made me reflect on my own approach in living my faith.
Bukan senang nak jadi orang..
Arip, without saying you did cry heavily!!! Everybody has to experience the emotion, then each will appreciate the family and love most. Last year was my forth consecutive years not celebrating Hari Raya at home. No more tears maaa... Tak guna menangis lagi..God will.
I hope the new brother in Islam friends in the photo will follow up with him. He really needs guidance and support.
...near the end of solah i was getting emotional but pretending tht i'm still happy, enjoying myself. talking to serounding. i quickly jump-out and race back to room, which i think was pretty fast for a walker like me. back in room i open my family photos album with tear...wawawa, in deed good feeling!
As room bcome hurting, i free myself to galley for fresh air...
