Everybody is looking forward to go home for December school holiday and Eid Adha celebration. Arip is one of the guys whom are anxiously preparing for the trip including making good his outward appearance. I can't guess his spiritual preparation maa!!!! What I can see lately, he eat a lot of "kharuf". The voluntary barber is busy as usual to satisfy friends request for hair cut. The closest hair cut saloon is about 30 km from the site and the barbers are familiar with African cut only. The voluntary barber do not posses London or Paris hair styling diploma but indeed they are marvellous hair stylist.
Today, there are only four Malaysian at site and by tomorrow evening, only the two Ahmad will stay at this lonely world until the year end. The local engineers have left the site since last week. Well, I am thinking of what can be done during the quite days. Traveling to Egypt? Snorkeling under the freezing water? Driving at the sand dunes? Go to any cave at the rocky mountain and do soul searching and heeling? Walk in the middle of the dessert and see the greatness of Allah. Swimming across the Red Sea to Jeddah?
The good news is that eight "Kembara Tengku Mahkota" friends are coming from Khartoum on the 18th December, 07. At least, we will not feel lonely for couple of days. Alhamdulillah.
To all our friends at home, we wish you and the family, Eid Mubarak. May Allah bless all.
